Who, Why, Where?

 

      Hi! My name is Tabitha, and I started Tab's Treats with the thought that God provides us with all we need. I apologize in advance for being all over the place, there's always a million things going on in my mind.  Can you relate?  I also don't have the best track record for taking care of myself.  Because of this I am on a mission to find the best natural, preferably topical, options for health and wellness.

              I've also been blessed with 4 awesome children.  I became a mother when I was 16 years old and started "adulting" while pregnant with my oldest son at 15 years old.  Yes, I'll give you a moment to process...

           Needless to say I've had to learn a lot of things on my own and, of course, the hard way.  I was able to get my GED (General Education Diploma),  and start college at 16.  I went through a slew of career paths in the medical field, both academically and clinically in the real world. I was basically raised by the standards of the medical field and hung on the words of scientists and doctors.  I joke about being all over the medical field because my path changed so many times that I feel like I've lived 5 lives, but I digress. 

         One day I felt this pull, a tug that was like nothing I'd ever felt before.  Something was telling me to homeschool my kids, and NOW.  CRAZY!  Absolutely not! Were the answers that immediately entered my mind, because well, I have zero patience and it was even worse in those days.  Not to mention my full time job.  It took several months of not being able to shake that feeling and thoughts of pulling them out of public school but then, I did!  I had done the research and one day I just quit my job, took the withdraw letter to the school, and we went home.

           Now, of course, I can see that it was God moving us toward what He had planned and not what I had in mind.  So, LONG story somewhat short, once we were homeschooling one of our subjects was Botany.  I realized that I have a great appreciation for plants, they're fascinating.  So is the human body...  So naturally I am now on a path of learning Herbology! You can rest assured that each product created by Tab's Treats has been thoroughly researched! Taking the guesswork out of your natural shopping experience and MAKING LIFE EASIER!

          One of my favorite parts of the medical field is lab.    My kids joke all the time about me "making potions", because I love making new concoctions! There are so many toxic things that can be supplemented by creating the alternatives with the natural things that God gave us!  I enjoy knowing exactly what is in the things that my family is using and how much of it!
